To me there are many games that have touched my heart. Through tears, blood, anguish and just damn good storytelling, games have started uproar among society, and so; let me present to you, my Top Ten Games of All Time (so far) – absolute must plays.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim This has to be the best game I have ever played, be it because of the amazing graphics, the magic powers, assassins or just the fact it has DRAGONS! The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the greatest RPG and game of all time as far as the world is concerned and it must be on your Christmas Playlist.

Tomb Raider (2013 Edition) Everyone who plays games can tell you that Lara Croft was always a revolution in the industry but this rebranded version was fresh this year and is second on my list! The story is set in Japan and features the origin of the legendary Tomb Raider and the terrible losses she had to face; a flipping fantastic game!

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood – The mighty Altair first started this amazing franchise, but if you’re a true Assassin you’ll know your heart lies with Ezio Auditore da Firenze, Altair’s heir to the Creed. This game is a wide spread Role Playing Game mainly featured in late 15th Century Italy. You play as Ezio on your constant struggle to rid Italy of the Borgia tyranny. The reason it’s on my list is because it’s simply too good.

Dragon Age: Origins I’m a sucker for a good RPG and that’s why my fourth favourite game is Dragon Age by Electronic Arts! Choose between a human, elf and a dwarf and then forge your character’s story background. Age is flexible and exhilarating, with dragons and demons and the war against Evil you become a legendary Grey Warden – protector of the realm. Why wouldn’t you want to play 2010’s “dark heroic fantasy set in a unique world”?

Walking Dead (Tell Tale Games) – Next Up! The Walking Dead! Based around the world wide phenomenon of AMC’s TV series and Robert Kirkman’s Comics, Tell Tale Games created a wonderful, gripping story of the un-dead where your choices affect the story – literally. If you love zombies, action and gripping storytelling, this game is to die for!

TheLastOfUs

The Last of Us – Another zombie infested dystopian game, but with a twist. The Last of Us was released this year and was revolutionary for the gaming universe. This game is even more tear-jerking than Titanic! It combines the perfect amount of love, action, zombies and amazing graphics which make it feel all so real. Remember to play with a tissue in hand.

Portal – Puzzles, turrets and psychotic robots. What more could you ask for?! Portal is the best puzzle game that includes adorable robotic turrets and friendly cores. The story unravels with the touch of your Portal Gun, speed through dimensional doors and solve the mystery behind Aperture Science and one of the best antagonists ever, GlaDoS. You won’t regret playing this game.

Far Cry 3 – Jason Brody: an American tourist caught by pirates on his latest adventure holiday. This game is great for three main reasons: The Insane Villains (Vaas and Hoyt), the storyline and the beautiful world that immerses you in the Far Cry Universe. Exclusive guns and a fantastic multiplayer as well, this game have the full package. Must Play!

Batman: Arkham Asylum – I’m BATMAN! Or at least I can be, and so can you! With a great fighting system and probably the best villains ever, including the evasive Joker who we all know and love. Arkham Asylum invites you to play as the ‘World’s Greatest Detective’ on a mission to save Gotham from the raging lunatics escaped from the local Asylum. In the name of B-Man I urge you to play this!

Mass Effect – Finally there is my last, but not least, favourite game of all time: Mass Effect. From space and beyond Mass Effect will change your way of gaming, choosing and recruiting members above your newly appointed space ship. The threat in this series is the Reapers; a grim race of alien’s hell bent on destroying Earth; your mission as the promiscuous ‘Shepard’ is to stop them! So if you like space, aliens and the inevitable doom of Earth, then choose this game – I guarantee it will have a MASSive effect on you!
