Free Games This Weekend

So this is becoming a semi-regular article. This weekend, if you don’t fancy forking out cash for the bigger releases, PC users can get in on some free games for this weekend. Five games are having free trials over the next few days, including Arma 3, Payday 2, Day of Infamy, Front Defense Heroes and OrbusVR.

All the games will see hefty discounts also, up to 70%.

Payday 2 is a heist game, where you set up different jobs to rob banks, jewellers and other such locations. While it has its limitations, it can be fun for a few hours to live out your criminal desires without actually going to jail.

Arma 3 is a military simulator with a vast number of mods available for download. From zombie survival to battle royale game modes it might just be worth the 24GB download. Day of Infamy is a WWII shooter and Front Defence is a WWII game designed as a VR game for HTC Vive.

If PC isn’t your thing though, PS4’s free games for May 2018 will be available next week and include Rayman Legends and Beyond Two Souls, which stars Ellen Page. Xbox One users can get 2015’s Metal Gear Solid 5 and Vanquish a bit later on.
