Album: Major Lazer – Peace is the Mission

We weren’t sure what to expect when we first listened to an album produced by an artist, that doesn’t sing in any of the songs produced, but we were definitely impressed. Peace is the Mission is an album that hasn’t really been discussed this year, despite Major Lazer’s growing fame and the popularity of his songs, particularly ‘Lean On’.

We absolutely think that his less-common songs are very underrated and the energy spent producing every song is apparent.

What we weren’t so sure on is that every song on the album was totally different with no pattern and no signature style.

Our favourite tracks on the album are:

All My Love- Machel Montano feat. Ariana Grande

Powerful- Ellie Goulding

Night Riders- Travis Scott & 2 Chainz

While Major Lazer won’t be topping the charts with ‘Peace is the mission’, all  nine songs are worth listening to and will stay in your head for a long time.
