Album Review: Katy Perry – Prism
Share:
The fourth studio album from American-born singer/songwriter Katy Perry, Prism, was released on October 21st through Capitol Records. Following her number one hit single Roar and a lengthy three-year break the Pop Princess is back with a vengeance.
This 13 track offering follows her split from husband of 14 months comedian Russell Brand. Katy worked alongside Dr. Luke, Stargate as well as the Swedish producer Max Martin, who has worked with stars like Britney, Kelly Clarkson and other big names, on the album. ‘Dark Horse,’ sees the California girl team up with Juicy J for the only collaborative effort on an album that is both highly anticipated and tipped to unearth a brand new sound from Miss Perry.
Prism is home to the chart-topping ROAR and other potential favourites ‘Walking on Air’ and ‘By The Grace of God’. Is Perry’s new record a groundbreaking production?
