Animaniacs Revival On its Way

If you were alive and watched cartoons in the late 90s, you’ll probably know the Animaniacs, Well, now they’re getting a reboot!

The Warner Bros animated series is being revived on the streaming site Hulu and already has a two-season commitment. There’s only one image accompanying the reveal, but it looks like it’ll see Pinky and the Brain return too. The revival will also see the original series return to Hulu. The new episodes are not expected to arrive until 2020 however.

Bummer.

Steven Spielberg, who served as executive producer and namesake on the OG series will return with the revival too.

‘I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu. Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and long-time fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot.’

There’s no word from the show’s original voice cast, but Maurice LaMarche, who voiced The Brain, tweeted about it, saying:

So yeah, keep your ears to ground and maybe binge the entire series if you have Hulu. And in case you needed a reminder, the Animaniacs made this little ditty:
