Last month, it was reported that the long-time-coming reboot of the 90s cult comic book movie The Crow, currently named The Crow Unborn, will begin pre-production next year. It has been confirmed that Aquaman star Jason Momoa will be attached to the project, what for we are still unsure, however it’s very likely he will star in the titular role.

The movie doesn’t have a release date but it’s probably somewhere in the near distant future.

Momoa and the hero’s creator James O’Barr.

The creator James O’Barr stated the pre-production would begin in February in 2018 and confirmed the collaboration with director Corin Hardy.

The Crow first appeared on screen in 1994, which was adapted from the comic book. It was a critical and financial hit but was overshadowed by the death of star Brandon Lee on set. It spawned one sequel in 1996, called The Crow: City of Angels but was nowhere near as well received.

Might be worth keeping an eye on.
