Mindfulness and meditation are two social media buzzwords at the moment. But they are also real-life practices used by millions of people across the globe.

Stop, Breathe & Think can be downloaded from the App Store if you’re using an iPhone, iPod or iPad and once you’ve done that, you’ll never look back.

Whether you’re a complete novice or experienced zen master, this app has something for you. Right from counting breaths meditation to the commonality of suffering meditation, Stop, Breathe & Think is tailored to you as an individual.

There are different voices to guide you through meditations and at first some can be quite comical. However, you’ve got to look past this and see it for what it really is: a tool to help you become a better you.

The app is unique from any other meditation app I’ve used because it allows you to ‘check in’ before and after your meditation. It’s really handy if you’re looking to see improvements in your mood over time. Furthermore, SBT also keeps check of the amount of time you’ve dedicated to meditation and it rewards you with ‘stickers’ for certain achievements.

If you’re looking for something to help quell exam nerves or to help you cope with issues that are bothering you, Stop, Breathe & Think can help. It’s portable, it’s accessible and it’s simply genius.
