What better way to start the week than a good giggle at few famous folks making prats of themselves.
Swiftly Awkward – The Duke of Cambridge joined Taylor Swift and Jon Bon Jovi on stage to sing the number one hit ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ at a charity event, it could have been the best band ever… but that all changed when they started singing; Bon Jovi was on guitar, not singing his best, whilst William tried to stay in tune and Taylor just screeched and flung her arms around.
Morgan’s Slumber – Morgan Freeman is happy to have a catnap anywhere. The 75 year old fell asleep during a US TV interview joined by his co-star Michael Caine while promoting their movie Now You See Me. Freeman responded to the incident by saying “I wasn’t actually sleeping. I’m a beta tester for Google Eyelids. I was merely taking the opportunity to update my Facebook page.” Yes, we totally believe you…
Twerkfest – Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke shocked the world (and even the Smiths) with their twerkfest live on the VMA’s in August 2013. Miley started out by wearing, what one would call, a leotard whilst singing ‘We Can’t Stop’ and decided to rip it off when Robin started singing ‘Blurred Lines’ revealing a less than flattering nude bra and hot pants set while Thicke, looking more like a pimp than a singer, wore a black and white suit. Miley then decided to ‘twerk’ against Robin with a foam finger and constantly stick her tongue out. Obviously the Smiths were less than impressed…
P Diddy Didn’t – Diddy got snubbed by U2 band member Bono after the most awkward hug in the history of the world. U2 won best original song for ‘Ordinary love’ from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, whilst going up to collect the award Sean “Diddy” Combs tried to give Bono a respected hug but it seemed Bono was less than impressed and awkwardly pulled away.
Bieber Bottled It – During his Believe concert in Brazil, a person from the crowd hurled a bottle of water at Justin Bieber hitting the singers right arm just as he finished his rendition of ‘Boyfriend’. Bieber scowled at the crowd before storming off and refusing to go back on stage. So yes Bieber definitely bottled it.
