Banksy Show Revealed

English graffiti artist Banksy has announced an exhibition at a derelict seafront lido in Weston-super-Mare.

This will be Banksy’s first show since 2009’s Banksy v Bristol museum show.

His art work has been featured on streets, walls and bridges throughout the world, giving him an international fan base and making him well known. He does not sell photographs or reproductions of his work but his work sells for hundreds of thousands at auctions.

Work from Damien Hirst, Jenny Holzer and Jimmy Cauty will also be out to see in Weston-super-Mare.

When Banksy was asked about his technique he said,  “I use whatever it takes. Sometimes that just means drawing a moustache on a girl’s face on some billboard, sometimes that means sweating for days over an intricate drawing. Efficiency is the key.”

People have already been asking for tickets but there is yet to be a date announced for the exhibition.
