Batfleck Movie Confirmed

After the creative direction of DC has now been officially regulated, we’re in store for a solo Batman movie.

Geoff Johns, who took charge last week, is said to be working with Ben Affleck on the film, which is said to be being released in the midst of the Justice League movies. Johns was interviewed by Comicbook.com, and said: “My job is to help other Warner Brothers divisions work with DC.”

So if Ben Affleck is indeed doing another Batman, let’s wonder for a moment… who could be in it?

With talks of a Harley Quinn spin-off movie starring Margot Robbie, there could be a number of possibilities.

Here’s a few ideas:

The Red Hood – Think of the history with the Bat here. Jason Todd resurrected, filled with hatred for Bruce, then the show-down between him, the Dark Knight and the Joker.

Mr.Freeze – But properly. Mr. Freeze’s story is one of sorrow and anguish. And it would be amazing to see that brought to life on the big screen.

Azrael – When Batman has his back broken, Azrael comes in to take over. But in doing so, he becomes a darker knight, attaching flamethrowers and spikes to his armour. Only the true Bat could stop him.
Hush
Hush – A master of disguise. A friend of Bruce Wayne who turns villain. A story like this would be perfect for delving into Bruce’s past.

Who knows what they’ll decide.

Let’s hope it lives up to expectations, and heats up the lukewarm mess BvS was.
