Holy moly this looks good.

Seriously.

So GamesCom is underway, and we’ve seen a few really cool things. We’ve had a better look at the Batman: Arkham VR game, the newest Battlefront DLC, and a new Metal Gear Solid co-op mode. Even Ubisoft’s fairly anticipated For Honour.

But the biggest hitter here has got to be Battlefield 1.

We finally have had a look at the desert warfare aspect of the WW1 game. Set in a battle between the Ottoman Empire and the British forces, we have a look at the horse combat, the armoured train, and the huge map.

The hype train is serious for this; the game looks beautiful, sleek and is a fresh look at WW1 combat. With 64 players and a hell of a lot of combat, it looks to be a joy to play when it gets here.

The biggest change in this map is the storms. So, in the desert, at any point, there will be a sandstorm, which totally changes the dynamic of the game. Instead of being able to see for miles, you’re clamouring to see barely six feet in front of you.

Roll on October 21st!
