Beat That Infinity War

In a bizarre twist of marketing, Deadpool 2 has brought on the voice of Celine Dion. Yeah, we’re as weirded out as you are.

The singer has released a music video and an entirely new song for the movie, titled Ashes and it’s honestly not that bad. What makes it even better, would be Deadpool strutting onto a stage to deliver an array of impressive dance moves. In heel nonetheless.

Dion said fans would be ‘laughing their ashes off’ at the video.

If the movie is anything like this masterpiece of marketing then we’re in for a treat. At the end of the video we are shown a brief exchange between the two stars, that goes a little like this:

Deadpool: Celine, that was amazing. That was the most beautiful performance I’ve ever seen in my life

Celine: Thank you so much, thank you.

Deadpool: No, no, thank you. We need to do it again

Celine: OK. Why?

Deadpool: Well it’s too good. This is Deadpool 2, not Titanic. You’re at like an 11, we need to get you down to a five, five-and-a-half tops, just phone it in.

Celine: Listen, this thing (pointing at herself) only goes to 11, so beat it Spider-Man.

Deadpool: God, I should’ve asked NSync.

It’s beautiful.
