Cable Actor Revealed!

Finally!
After the first look at Deadpool 2 we got this month, it’s finally been revealed who will play one of the film’s main characters, Cable. According to THR, Oscar-nominee Michael Shannon is currently in the running to play Deadpool’s reluctant partner.
Other actors were in the running too, however, including David Harbour, who played the sheriff in Stranger Things. The Hollywood Reporter’s sources also site Kyle Chandler as being in the running too. He was in Manchester by the Sea and Bloodline, but was never in serious consideration for the role.
You’ll probably remember Shannon as Zod from Man of Steel, so he is no stranger to the workings of superhero movies. Except this one won’t suck.
As well as Cable, Deadpool 2 will also feature Domino, who will be played by Zazie Beetz.
Ryan Reynolds will appear again as the spandex-clad merc with a mouth soon, and the movie will be directed by David Leitch, who replaced Tim Miller, who dropped out over creative differences with Ryan Reynolds around the back end of last year.
No release date has been set yet, but it will probably be out at some point next year, we hope.
