Celebs Go Dating… But Maybe They Shouldn’t

On Monday night, a new TV show aired on E4 called Celebs Go Dating. The aim of the programme is pretty self-explanatory, but if you’re yet to catch on, it’s all about setting celebs up on dates with ordinary people and trying to find their perfect match. Starring Stephanie Pratt (Made in Chelsea), Joey Essex (The Only Way is Essex), Tyger Drew-Honey (Outnumbered), Paisley Billings (Tattoo Fixers), and Charlotte Crosby (Geordie Shore), it’s clear from the start that there’s going to be some bumps along the way.

From a girl burping in Joey’s face to a man telling Stephanie he’s just been circumcised on their first date, the show is certainly interesting, to say the least.

But is it worth watching?

Well, if you like reality TV, and you know some of the celebs who are on the show, you will probably love it. It has all of the aspects of a typical reality TV show, with some scenes clearly added in for entertainment purposes, and certain people used for comedy. For instance, you’ll constantly be listening to Charlotte talking about her escapades on Geordie Shore, and Joey Essex bigging up his stupidity but, without this, the show probably would be quite boring.

However, be sure to stay clear of the programme if you’re not into any of those things as it certainly won’t be up your street.

Though, regardless of this, it is interesting to find out a lot about the celebrities that you may not have known otherwise. For example, we find out that Tyger likes to have a lot of sex, that Charlotte Crosby often needs a nervous poo (although you probably knew that one already) and that Joey Essex isn’t as stupid as he makes out (possibly).
