Well, here we go again.

Starting with films this week we have some new entries, with the release of The Hitman’s Bodyguard and Daniel Craig’s Logan Lucky.

It’s good to see some fresh films in the charts after a few weeks of the same old stuff. Here are this weekend’s box office numbers, with the likes of Dunkirk falling to 4th place, and *shudders* The Emoji Movie still clinging on in 5th place.

  1. The Hitman’s Bodyguard — $21.6 million
  2. Annabelle: Creation — $15.5 million
  3. Logan Lucky — $8.1 million
  4. Dunkirk — $6.7 million
  5. The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature — $5.1 million
  6. The Emoji Movie — $4.4 million
  7. Spider-Man: Homecoming — $4.3 million
  8. Girls Trip — $3.8 million
  9. The Dark Tower — $3.7 million
  10. Wind River — $3 million

Reviews for The Hitman’s Bodyguard have been surprisingly good, bringing in $21.6 million which was slightly ahead of its predictions according to Entertainment Weekly.

For games Crash Bandicoot The N.Sane Trilogy is still holding the top spot, followed by GTAV and Fallout 4 due to a recent price slash on Steam and the like. A new entry has made it to 4th however. Agents of Mayhem the sort-of spin-off from the Saints Row series. It may have sold well, but reviews were less than stellar, calling it boring and lacking in humour that wasn’t just crude.

Here is the full list:

  1. Crash Bandicoot The N.Sane Trilogy
  2. Grand Theft Auto 5
  3. Fallout 4
  4. Agents of Mayhem
  5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  6. DOOM
  7. Dishonoured 2
  8. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6: Siege
  9. Splatoon 2
  10. Forza Horizon 3

I cannot wait for some new stuff to come out and knock Crash off his high horse. Because it’s been nearly two months at the top.

*sweats impatiently waiting for Shadow of War*
