Another week, here are some more numbers. This week we’re adding a bit more flavour to this soup of numbers and sales, by adding a singles chart, showcasing probably some of the most generic music you can listen to. #Shade.

To start, let’s look at movies. Not much has changed really, The Emoji Movie is still clinging onto the list like a bad rash, with The Hitman’s Bodyguard coming in first once again.

  1. The Hitman’s Bodyguard – $10 million
  2. Annabelle: Creation – $7.35 million
  3. Leap – $5 million
  4. Wind River – $4.41 million
  5. Logan Lucky – $4.36 million
  6. Dunkirk – $3.95 million
  7. SpiderMan: Homecoming – $2.72 million
  8. Mayweather vs. McGregor – $2.59 million
  9. Birth of the Dragon – $2.5 million
  10. The Emoji Movie – $2.35 million

The Hitman’s Bodyguard is still holding fast in first, which is impressive considering it basically came out of nowhere. Also, the Mayweather and McGregor fight broke box office? That’s impressive. Mayweather went ten rounds with the mixed martial artist Irishman, but in the end, McGregor went down. Finally, we can stop going on about it.

Now games, where a new contender has finally surpassed Crash Bandicoot’s reign on the top ten.

  1. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
  2. F1 2017
  3. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
  4. Madden NFL 2018
  5. GTA V
  6. Fallout 4
  7. Dishonored 2
  8. Forza Horizon 3
  9. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
  10. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Surprised to not see the newest Mario/Rabbids game up there, but it was always going to be a niche game, what with its XCOM style of gameplay. Oh well, maybe next week.

And last but not least, depending on your taste, we have out top ten singles chart.

  1. New Rules – Dua Lipa
  2. Friends – Justin Bieber & Bloodpop
  3. Feels – Calvin Harris, Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, Big Sean
  4. What About Us – Pink
  5. Reggaeton Lento (Remix) – CNCO & Little Mix
  6. Sun Comes Up – Rudimental ft. James Arthur
  7. Despacito – Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, Justin Bieber
  8. Mi Gente – J Balvin, Willy William
  9. Back to You – Louis Tomlinson, Bebe Rexha, Digital Farm Animals
  10. More Than Friends – James Hype ft. Kelli-Leigh

And there you have it. New Rules is an anthem and anyone who says otherwise does not deserve your time. Also, Feels? How many artists do you need to make one song? Doesn’t really matter though. It’s still terrible.

That’s it for this week, do all of the social media stuff, tweets and likes or whatever you youngsters use to measure your online satisfaction.

Byyyyye
