Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has retained its no.1 spot in the UK charts the week ending July 8th.  According to Chart-Track, no other PS4 title has managed to stay at the top spot for two weeks in a row since last year’s bore-fest that was Uncharted 4. Grand Theft Auto V is still in the charts, now in its 199th week and it came second to Crash.

The two heavy-hitting shooters that came out last year also made it into the list. Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare both entered the list at No.6 and No.8 respectively. This might be due to the Steam sales and the Origin sales too.

Here’s the full list:

  1. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
  2. Grand Theft Auto V
  3. Overwatch
  4. FIFA 17
  5. Micro Machines: World Series
  6. Battlefield 1
  7. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  8. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  9. Rocket League
  10. Horizon Zero Dawn

Good to see Overwatch back in the listing.

There was a controversy surrounding the N. Sane Trilogy as many reviewers said it sucked due to its difficulty spike. However, in response, I’d like to refer to someone who makes sense:

In other game news, probably one of my favourite games of the year so far topped CS: GO in terms of concurrent players recently, which is an incredible feat by any stretch. The fact the game has been out mere months and is topping Valve’s poster game is impressive to say the least.

So yeah, well done.

That is all.
