Darth Maul: Apprentice Fan Film

If you’re anything like me, you’ll have wanted to see more Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace.

He was probably the coolest Sith Lord to ever grace our screens, what with the dual sided lightsabre and such. He became an icon for the Sith… and the only good thing in that movie.

A film company called T7 Production has put together a film about a mission Maul went on before Episode 1. And it’s dope. 

Cinematography wise, it’s more akin to a Star Wars movie than Episode 1. The film follows an original story that shows Maul take on a number of Jedi in what I would call some of the coolest fights seen in a fan film.

The make-up and effects are really well done, and the German film makers Vi-Dan and Shawn Bu have a lot to be proud of.  Each fight is awesomely choreographed and the locations are gorgeous. The CGI is very impressive and production values of this calibre are only normally seen by professionals.
