Data Miners Uncover Stuff In PUBG

I use the term ‘stuff’ to refer to a few weapon models and some new cars.

Dataminers have uncovered a few hidden models from Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds test server code. A few findings include three weapon models, some trucks and even a jet-ski. According to one Reddit user, locations on the upcoming desert map are set to be renamed too.  The model’s look rather intriguing, offering up a Rhino Revolver, a Winchester rifle and a sawed-off double barrel shotgun. The sawed-off may be classified as a pistol, given that it was found in ‘the pistol folder’ according to the Reddit user.

There’s even a piddly little flare gun, that someone will probably win a game with and my hopes of becoming a professional player will be dashed upon the rocks of reality.

Sorry, that got a bit real there.

PUBG is set for official release from Early Access later next month, but before that, we’re getting two new weapons. The DP-28, a light machine which is featured in Battlefield 1 I believe; and the AUG A3, which will be exclusive to the care package drops.

Might be a reason to step back into it for a bit.
