As unlikely as it is that Trump would complete his journey to presidency, David Cameron commented on how the ‘special’ relationship with the US would become far less special should Trump make it to the White House.

This followed a question from Labour MP Tulip Siddiq, in which she denounced the Republican head for his recent proposal to ban Muslim immigration. Cameron agreed that these comments were “divisive, stupid and wrong”, but did not agree that Britain should ban him on the grounds of preaching hate.

The PM argued that Britain is “one of the most successful multi-racial, multi-faith, multi-ethnic” countries in the world. He remarked, however, that instead of banning Trump from the UK, a visit from the eagle aggravating would help “unite us all” against him.

Not bad, Cameron. Not bad… so how’s the NHS?
