Yeah it’s a dumb title, what’re you going to do?

So, another year, another harrowing few days for the wallets and eyes of millions of gamers and consumers everywhere. From Bethesda to EA, we saw the tried and tested things like the newest Madden game coming this year, and FIFA, which looks the same as it does every year. (Seriously, these guys know we play games to get away from playing sports, right?)

But, I digress. What we did see was kind of neat, so the big question, what are we most excited for?

Well, so far, we have a bunch of titles to rave about. Let’s count them down, shall we?

Bethesda:

Honestly, we didn’t get very much from Bethesda this year. Last year was a bit of a let-down too, with the hype for Prey being none existent, they seem to be hard done by, and they have only themselves to blame. They released two trailers for actual games, and the rest of the conference was DLC stuff for the likes of Elder Scrolls Online and Dishonoured 2. The two games they announced were:

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

And:

The Evil Within 2

And that’s about all there is to say on the Bethesda front. Two rather good games getting sequels, but whether they’ll live up to or expand on what was already there is to be discovered.

Xbox One:

(Note, we’re only looking at the most anticipated/coolest games that were there.)

We had a ton of games come out of the Microsoft/XboxOne conference. From obvious titles like Assassin’s Creed, and the anticipated State of Decay 2, to a little surprise. Yeah boy, we getting another Metro game!

First up, Assassin’s Creed:

To State of Decay 2:

Metro: Exodus:

We also had two big non-sports games from EA. One of which being Bioware’s new IP:

And of course Battlefront II:

So yeah.

That’s all the big games so far. We have Sony’s conference very soon, so stay tuned for Part 2!

Oh, hang on a minute:

You know what’s coming.
