We promise this is the last one.

Maybe.

In our final foray into the mess that is E3, we’re looking at Nintendo and seeing what they have on offer for their new console, the Switch.  From Mario to Pikachu, all the icons are here. Heck, even Metroid is getting a new game.

Let’s start with possibly the most anticipated.

Super Mario Odyssey looks really weird. From the ultra-realistic environments (for a Mario game at least), to him stood next to normal people? And there’s a T-rex? I guess? For some reason? Anyway, it looks pretty good. Bowser turns up looking pretty dapper in a suit(?), and it turns out Mario’s hat is actually… alive?

We will see more soon.

Next up, Link is coming back for more in Breath of the Wild, for the game’s first DLC, releasing at the end of June. Along with the DLC, there will be four new amiibos (Nintendo’s version of Skylanders).

Next, we have a port from literally everything. Rocket League is coming to Switch finally! It’s a fantastic game, and will definitely benefit from the portability of the Switch. Not really much else to say, is there? It’s Rocket League, it’s a good game.

Now, a face we haven’t seen for a while. We’re getting a new Yoshi game! It’ll feature all the obvious Yoshi things, like shootings eggs at your enemies and exploring colourful and vibrant worlds. The art style looks almost like it’s made out of cardboard? Which I’m into. That’ll be out in 2018.

Lastly, a new 3DS title, and a return from everyone’s favourite armour-clad lady, Samus. It’s been a while, with the game aptly being named Metroid: Samus Returns. Releasing in September this year, the game is said to be a re-imagining of the Gameboy title Metroid II.

And, another foray, we’ll be getting Metroid Prime 4, but we saw nothing of the actual game. What did we see? 42 seconds of a logo forming. If that gets you going, look no further.

Well.

That’s about it. We’ll have a quick round up tomorrow and maybe mention some stuff we missed.

Until next time though!
