EDL Upstaged by Nudists. Seriously.

Never a dull day in Bristol, eh?

At 7AM GMT, EDL launched a march through the streets of Bristol, to basically everyone’s distaste.

According to Twitter, only a handful of racists turned up for the march, who were then surrounded and escorted by anti-riot police. Pro-immigration rallies sprang up over the city in opposition, holding up a number of signs saying things like ‘Say yes to immigrants’ or quite simply ‘F**k off Nazis’.

The number of EDL members is decidedly underwhelming, and it only gets better.

Around 250 people linked up at the appropriately named Full Moon pub, to take part in a nude bike ride around the city.

These wonderful humans then biked right through the EDL’s march.

‘Tis a beautiful thing.

This is like the chaotic good of events. Something awful like an EDL rally takes place, only to be countered by something relatively normal, like a counter rally…then…this…
