Calling all aspiring actors! Anyone ever tell you you look like a young Albus Dumbledore, Leta Lestrange or Newt Scamander? Well, now that slightly weird observation will come in handy for you as five new roles are up for grabs for 13-16 year olds who want to play the young versions of the main cast.

Warner Bros are looking for a teenage Newt Scamander, Leta Lestrange, Gellert Grindelwald, Albus Dumbledore and a new character called Sebastian.

If you’re over 16, there’s still something for you. The studio needs a 16-18 year old version of Albus Dumbledore and Grindelwald.

You will be working alongside Eddie Redmayne, Johnny Depp and Jude Law as well as a huge number of other famous faces – a brilliant opportunity for any teenagers that dream of becoming high profile actors one day.

Don’t worry about not having acted professionally before as the studio isn’t too bothered about past experience.

If you think you’d be perfect for the role, you can follow the instructions given on the open audition announcement that can be found here.

“To apply for the Fantastic Beasts open casting call, email casting.prod@wb.uc-ns.com with a recent colour photograph, (i.e., taken within the last two months), contact telephone number, your home address and date of birth. Anyone under 18 must ask a parent or guardian to send the application.

“No previous acting experience is necessary, but applicants need to be eligible to work in the UK (meaning they must be a UK, Irish or EU passport holder), and be available for filming between August and November 2017.

“The closing date for applications is Tuesday, 20 June 2017 at midnight GMT. If there is interest in pursuing an application further, the applicant will hear back within 14 days of their original submission. While every applicant will be considered, only those passing the initial consideration round will be contacted.”
