An off-duty FBI agent accidentally shot a bystander in the leg, after his gun fell out of his holster, as he busted out some sick moves on a dancefloor in Denver Colorado, police have said. The video, shared on Twitter, shows the agent getting jiggy with it then performing a backflip.

His firearm then fell to the floor from its holster on the agent’s waist. He tried to reach for it but accidentally pulled the trigger as he picked it up, injuring a nearby bar-goer.

It has not been revealed if the agent will suffer any disciplinary actions thus far.

Quite the crowd had gathered to watch, which obviously was to his detriment. When the gun goes off, he can be seen holding his hands up and then promptly leaves the floor.

The Denver Police Department said in their statement:

‘[The agent] was dancing at a nightclub when his firearm became dislodged from its waistband holster and fell on to the floor. When the agent retrieved his handgun, an unintended discharge occurred.’

The victim was reported to have a ‘good prognosis’ when transported to a nearby hospital.

The Denver District Attorney’s office said the incident was still being investigated.

Now we all know, there’s only one member of the US police/FBI service who can dance with a weapon.

It’s Chris Tucker. From Rush Hour.

We joke, but for real? Did you need to bring your gun to a bar?
