The Flat Earth Society Conference

Despite there being endless amounts of evidence proving that the Earth is spherical in shape, some people chose to ignore satellite images and basic physics and argue that the Earth is flat. These flat Earth believers met up on the 9th of November for a conference to discuss the ways in which scientists have lied to us all in order to convince us that our planet is round.

Most of the 400 attendants firmly believe that most science is just ‘Fake News’ and that NASA has been continually deceiving us about all sorts of matters relating to space.

If you think that they’re gullible for believing the whole flat-Earth thing, wait till you hear how much they paid for a ticket! The most expensive ticket for entry to this conference was priced at $249 and the cheapest would set you back $109. That’s an awful lot of money to go and discuss the Earth’s shape while being laughed at by the US media.

Notorious Flat Earther, Mark Sargent, gave a speech at the conference and at one point he claims that the flat Earth theory is soon going to be taught as part of the science curriculum in mainstream education. For the sake of future US schoolchildren and the survival of mankind, we need to continue to just point and laugh at these conspiracy theorists.

When asked about founder of the SpaceX Programme, Elon Musk (who is also most likely a believer of a round Earth), he told his audience, “Elon Musk just pulls crap out of his butt on a weekly basis.”

So there you have it- a reminder that even if things in your life are crazy and confusing at the moment, things could be a whole lot worse- you could be a Flat Earther.
