This week the Premier League started with West Ham against Leicester on Friday night. The game finished 1-1 with Albrighton opening the scoring followed Kouyate scoring for the hammers to gain David Moyes his first point in charge of the club. Crystal Palace played Stoke city with the game ending 2-1 to the home side Shaqiri scoring first for Stoke followed by Lofus-cheek in the 56th minute. Palace managed to clinch the win in the 90th minute with a goal from Sakho to give the team their second win of the season.

Manchester United beat Brighton 1-0 with the only goal coming from Lewis Dunk who deflected the ball in his own net due to a shot from Ashley Young.

Watford beat Newcastle 0-3 away from home. Will Hughes, Andre Gray and an own goal from DeAndre Yedlin ensured they got an easy three points at St James’ Park.

Swansea against Bournemouth ended at a goalless draw. Swansea lest currently struggling with a point above the bottom, however, Bournemouth is in 13th. Spurs drew with West Brom 1-1. Rondon was the first scorer for West Brom followed by Harry Kane for Spurs. Liverpool played Chelsea with the game ending 1-1. Mohammad Salah was the scorer for Liverpool and Willian came off the bench to secure the point for Antonio Conte’s side.

The first game on Sunday was Southampton against Everton. The game ended 4-1 with Tadic, Davis and two goals for Charlie Austin whereas Sigurdsson was the only scorer for Everton.

Arsenal beat Burnley with a penalty from Sanchez in the 90th minute at Turf moor. This puts the Gunners in fourth place above rivals Spurs. League leader Manchester City beat Huddersfield 1-2 away from home. Sterling and Aguero scored for City and the goal for Huddersfield came from their own man Nicolas Otamendi. Man city is currently unbeaten and eight points clear. But can Manchester United catch up or is the league already won?
