This week’s premier league games started with Manchester United against Spurs. The game ended 1-0 with Jose Mourinho’s side clinching an important three points to try and close the gap between their rivals the dominant Manchester City. Anthony Martial secured the win with a goal in the 81st minute.

Arsenal played Swansea with the score ending 2-1. Sam Clucas opened the scoring in the 22nd minute but Arsenal replied in the second half with goals from Kolasinac and Aaron Ramsey to give Arsenal the win to put the gunners in fifth place. Crystal Palace played West Ham with both teams struggling at the bottom. The game ended 2-2 with West Ham being 2-0 in front with goals from Hernandez in the 31st minute and Andre Ayew in the 43rd minute. However, in the second half Crystal Palace levelled the scoreline with a penalty from Milivojevic and a late goal from Wilfred Zaha in the 90th minute.

Liverpool played Huddersfield with the game ending 3-0 to the home side. Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Wijnaldum were the scorers. Mohammad Salah missed a penalty early in the game but this did not affect the result, putting Liverpool in sixth place. Watford played Stoke with the score ending 0-1 with Darren Fletcher being the only scorer. West Brom played against Manchester city where the league leaders managed to gain another win to maintain the gap between the rest of the league. The score was 2- 3 with goals from Sane, Fernandiniho and Sterling for Man City. The scorers for West Brom were Jay Rodriquez and Phillips.

The final game of the day was Bournemouth against Chelsea. Chelsea came out on top with a goal from Eden Hazard giving them the three points early in the second half and Bournemouth were unable to get back into the game.

The first game on Sunday was Brighton against Southampton. The game finished 1-1 with a goal from Steven Davis in the seventh minute followed by an equalizer from Glenn Murray in the 52nd minute. The final game of the day was between Leicester and Everton. Leicester secured the win with the game ending 2-0 with goals from Jamie Vardy and Demarai Gray to give Claude Puel his first win in charge of the club.

However, not all the games have been played this week with Newcastle facing Burnley tonight.
