Tim Miller, who recently walked from production of Deadpool 2, has already found himself a new gig.

And it’s on the Sonic the Hedgehog movie.

Now, not to debunk Miller’s professional choices, but how do you go from this:

No! Anything but Sonic Boom!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller will act as an executive producer, and Jeff Fowler will work on the film for Sony Pictures also. Fowler will be the acting producer.

There are very few details regarding the film, only that the film will be some kind of adaption of Sonic. THR did say however, the goal is to create a live action/CGI hybrid film that is family oriented. When Sony Pictures and Sega described a possible film back in February, this is what they had in mind. A release date hasn’t been officially announced, but Sony discussed a date landing somewhere in 2018.

This year commemorates 20 years of Sonic the Hedgehog, with a collector’s edition pack featuring a number of speedy goodies.

Gotta go fast!

Someone end me.
