Not sure if it’s due to my lack of sleep or I’m in a fever dream but am I reading this right?

A man dressed as Pikachu, Pokémon’s poster pocket monster, was taken into custody on Tuesday, after hopping the border around the White House. The Secret Service apprehended the man, after he dropped his backpack, saying he was unarmed.

The motive behind 36-year-old Curtis Combs’ stunt is unclear. Whether the Kentucky resident was looking to just make it on YouTube, or troll some officials as a Pokémon character, is still unclear.

CNN reported the incident, but this isn’t the first time this has happened weirdly enough.

Something similar happened in 2014 and was caught on camera.

Combs has pleaded not guilty on the grounds of unlawful entry, CNN has said. He will be facing the charge on 9th November.

Weird.
