Now I’m sorry, and I’m gonna let you finish, but this is the best petition of all time.

Rumours have been circulating that self-proclaimed musical God Kanye West is reworking some of David Bowie’s most iconic songs, including Heroes and Starman.

A petition was started to stop Kanye from tinkering with the late Bowie’s best songs, and has almost reached its 25,000 signature target, stating: “David Bowie was one of the single most important musicians of the 20th and 21st century; it would be a sacrilege to let it be ruined by Kanye West.”

There is now a counter-petition, set up by Caspar Salmon, which wants to petition parliament with ‘Kanye Must Do Whatever He Wants All the Time’.

“We call on Kanye West, the incredible musician and endlessly exciting human, to keep doing whatever the b**p he wants for as long as he wants. This will lead to racist white people having headaches and everybody else having a great time.”

While they both make a good argument, we can all agree that if Yeezus does take on some of Bowie’s songs, he better come up with something good.

If not:
