It was an eventful night at the AMA Awards over in America last night. The star studded event, held in downtown Los Angles, saw tributes made to some of the biggest names in music past and present.

However, we are going to talk K Pop, or more specifically: BTS. The seven piece sensation otherwise known as the ‘Bangtan Boys’ made history when they became the first Korean boy band to perform at the awards. Performing their hit DNA, they were witnessed by two easily-definable groups: overwhelmed, emotionally-charged fans and, more amusingly, lost-looking celebrities attempting to join in.

As you can see, it was pretty dang lit, and that’s something I don’t say lightly. I’d keep an eye out for the Bangtan Boys in the near future. We’ll definitely be writing more about them and K Pop’s influence in the coming months.
