We’ve had ‘Making a Murderer’ and ‘The Keepers’, now it’s time for a British real crime documentary. Netflix is going to be releasing a documentary following the aftermath of the abduction of Madeleine McCann. The eight part series will feature interviews with investigators and other figures who were involved somehow in the case.

It has been ten years since Madeleine, aged 3, went missing from her holiday apartment in Portugal while her parents went out for a drink and some tapas.

During the investigation, the McCanns behaved very oddly and therefore many people believe that Kate and Gerry McCann were either responsible or knew more than they would admit to the police and it wouldn’t be surprising if Netflix touched on this a little bit. Also, it’s widely acknowledged that if the McCanns were a working class family, they’d be locked up in jail for neglect the second their plane touched down in the UK.

It’s unknown at the minute whether or not the McCanns will be featuring in the documentary and no release date has been confirmed.

In the meantime, if you fancy watching a video explaining some of the conspiracy theories, why not check out Lauren’s video:
