Man Who Threw Tomatoes Is US Hero

Andrew Alemao, aged 28, has become an internet sensation after being arrested for allegedly throwing two tomatoes at Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.

According to Iowa City Press Citizen, Alemao is facing a misdemeanour charge and is set for release on Wednesday. Trump had been in Iowa less than a week before the 1st of February caucuses, and over 1,000 people came to the rally, including protesters who frequently interrupted the rally.

He was taken into custody by the Secret Service and the UIPD after throwing tomatoes, the release said. He was arrested on Tuesday night and is due to be released at 9:25am on Wednesday the 3rd.

It’s safe to say this guy is being treated like an internet messiah after the incident.
