It’s coming, people.

Mental health charity Take This has announced it will have a strong presence in this year’s biggest gaming event, E3. The charity, started in 2012, have been to a number of events including Pax and Magfest, but this will be their first appearance at E3.

They have a number of sponsors and partners, including IGN, GameSpot, and many big-name game companies like BioWare, Epic Games, and Bethesda.

The charity was founded by veteran journalists Russ Pitts and Susan Arendt with clinical psychologist Dr. Mark Kline after the tragic suicide of a colleague.

Their slogan comes from the 1986 game The Legend of Zelda, at the point where you get your first sword.

A fitting slogan for an amazing charity. Take This will be at E3 from June 14-16. They will have an AFK room where people can go to talk to experts about what’s troubling them, and a space to get away from the madness of the show floor.

If you’re headed that way, go check them out!

You can read more about them here.

Show the love, people.
