Makes sense to me.

A new trend of photos is hitting Instagram, after the thigh gap, the A4 waist challenge, and a whole other load of (what are essentially) body shaming tags.

This time, we’re celebrating ladies who maybe don’t have a gap between their thighs, or whose hips are actually larger than an A4 bit of paper. And it’s rather cool to see the effect.

I’m a mermaid don’t ya know #mermaidlife #ariel #thelittlemermaid #nothighgap #mermaidthighs

Okay, first of all I want those leggings, second of all the trend was started by a meme, like most things are these days.

The tag had accompanied over 1000 photos already, and all these ladies slay.

Why can’t my figure look like that?

I’m in love with this tag holy crap.

Live your dreams, ladies. Live your dreams.

#MermaidThighs. It’s legit.

We’ve been very body positive this week, actually (seriously, look! More wonderful women being themselves).

I’m in tears; this is too much.
