Yes, Men in Black and 22 Jump Street have decided to merge IPs to create something more abhorrent than the third MIB film.

At Sony’s CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas last week, they announced that Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum were to reprise their roles from 21/22 Jump Street, and will also act as executive producers on the movie.

The movie will be compiled by a number of writers and familiar hands, including The Muppets director James Bobin, who is being eyed to take the helm for the… abomination. Previous directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will be involved on a production level. In addition, the pair are also working on the solo Han Solo film. (Ha! Solo pun.)

The script will be written by the man who was behind 22 Jump Street. Story details are being kept hush-hush, and Sony is requiring everyone involved to come to its studio HQ for a script reading.

No release date has been announced.
