Flashbacks incoming.

About a month ago, we ran a story about a really cool charity, who give ill children the means to explore new worlds, build and create and just forget about the world for a bit, by donating game stations to hospitals. Each of the stations comes with a few games, a console and some controllers. It’s pretty dang great.

Well, Gamer’s Outreach is at it again with being great, as they are teaming up with our recently reviewed game Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds. It’s a pretty decent game, warts and all. But, to raise money for the cause, these two have teamed up to deliver a day of streaming mayhem, featuring 128 streamers from Europe and North America. All proceeds will go to furthering Gamer’s Outreach projects.

The post on the PUBG site states:

“For the event, we will be hosting 128 streamers from both NA & EU. We have split the event into two sessions, with 64 players from EU taking to the battlegrounds in the first 3 matches, and then 64 players from NA rounding out the event for the final 3 matches. We will have more information on the exact timings and match format early next week. We are splitting up the regions to ensure all participants can play on servers with the least ping possible, and to ensure as fair a match as possible for all involved.”

The streaming day will be on 4th May, and you can view all the matches on their Twitch channel.

It’s pretty cool to see the game picking up so much traction considering it’s actually really good, plus it’s all for a good cause.

Be sure to have a look!

Came top 3 the other night.

I’m basically a Pro™.
