MLK Jr. Day Tarnished by Trump

Weirdly however, this blunder comes from Melania Trump, after she tweeted out during Martin Luther King Jr day. Trump was too busy golfing.
Almost as tone deaf as her husband, she said:
Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & his service to this great country. I am honored to be First Lady of a nation that continually strives for equality & justice for all. #MLKDay

Many people online showed distain for the tweet, stating that perhaps she should have a chat to her husband about such things.
Have you met your husband lately??? #mlkday

Melania became the first lady after Trump was inaugurated, with more than a few awkward moments. From the numerous blank faces, she’s given Donald, to the infamous fading smile. Not to mention the time Trump used a supposed body double to stand in for his wife. That was weird.
Martin Luther King Jr Day commemorates the life of the civil rights leader. Many other US leaders showed tribute to the man, including Barack Obama:
Dr. King was 26 when the Montgomery bus boycott began. He started small, rallying others who believed their efforts mattered, pressing on through challenges and doubts to change our world for the better. A permanent inspiration for the rest of us to keep pushing towards justice.

Even Apple have cleared their site to celebrate:
And King’s eldest son gave an empowering speech, captured on the Channel 4’s Twitter.
"The American Dream is decidedly a nightmare for too many citizens"
