Another month, another bunch of movies. I say a bunch. There’s maybe three that could be worth going to see in May. These include Solo, Deadpool and heck, even a Melissa McCarthy movie.
First up we have a Melissa McCarthy movie. Curb your expectations folks because this looks like a doozy. I’m kidding, it’ll be awful. Just from the trailer expect your standard McCarthy humour. Expect it on 11th May.
Next up, we have Deadpool 2, just one of the highly anticipated superhero movies this year. We don’t really need to say much here, just that we know it’s going to be more Ryan Reynolds being Deadpool. Which we are absolutely fine with. Expect it on 18th May.
Last up, we have Solo: A Star Wars Story. Expectations are low right out the gate given the number of behind the scenes horror stories we’ve heard. From several directors leaving to rewrites and somewhat generic trailer, we just hope we’re wrong.
We also have a few games this month, nothing massive though. First up we have Destiny 2’s next DLC. Warmind is the second expansion, after the disappointing Curse of Osiris in February. Hopefully, the next one will be less awful. Whether the player base will care or not is still to be decided. Expect it on 8th May.
We have State of Decay 2, the follow up of the 2013 game State of Decay. This zombie survival sandbox will be out on 18th May also. Honestly it looks pretty fun. If you’re in the mood for a zombie game this might be your thing.
