40-year-old Denise Van Outen is set to bring fireworks to TVs everywhere as she makes an appearance on BBC Ones EastEnders this Spring.

The ex-Strictly Come Dancing contestant is expected to be up to mischief when she walks onto Albert Square, wasting no time getting close to one of the men, but bosses wont reveal who.

Mum-of-one Denise, who played Roxie Hart in the stage musical Chicago, had already turned EastEnders down three times, but it was only a matter of time before she would appear on the soap.

The iconic BBC soap gears up for its 30th ­anniversary celebrations this week as viewers will discover who actually killed Lucy Beale, as he father gets ready to marry former wife Jane and the legendary Barbara Windsor makes a return as Peggy Mitchell for one episode.
