Newcastle in Lockdown: Zombie Apocalypse

18 June 2014

By Yasmine

Tickets are now on sale for an apocalyptic zombie survival game called 2.8 Hours Later. The game will commence in Newcastle on June 21st, 22nd, 27th and 28th.

The game starts at a secret location in the city centre which is given to the ticket holders and they need to make their way to different safe spots which are located on a map given to them. Whilst trying to make their way to safe spots, zombies and cops will be lurking in the darkness, trying to throw players into quarantine or make them become a zombie. If you are captured, this means you have not survived the zombie apocalypse. You can volunteer to be a zombie or a police officer by applying at 2.8hourslater.com.

Developers of the game wanted to recreate what it would be like if a zombie survival situation was to take place. After the game is over, all volunteers and players are able to attend the zombie disco, to show both zombies and humans can live in harmony.

All that’s left to do now is… RUN!
