Orange Leaves Take That

25 September 2014

By Yasmine

Jason Orange has confirmed his departure from Take That. Orange was quick to say there had been no fallings out and said he had spent some of his best years with the band. Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen sat down with Jason in a band meeting last week where he established that he would not be returning to record and promote a new album.

The band originally formed in 1990 starring all the boys including Robbie Williams. The band split in 1996 and reformed without ‘Candy’ singer Robbie back in 2005, however Williams did briefly return to the group in 2010 for their record breaking 2011 tour.

Gary, Howard and Mark have said Jason’s departure is a huge loss and they will be carrying on as a trio.

Goodbye Orange.
