This weekend’s premier league action started with Brighton against Chelsea. The game ended 0-4 to the away side. William, Moses and two from Hazard ensured the three points, a relief for the side after the lack of scoring in previous matches.

Arsenal had twenty minutes of magic against Crystal Palace in which they scored four goals. The game consequently ended 4-1 with Milivojevic scoring late in the game. The scorers for Arsenal were Monreal, Alex Iwobi, Koscielny and Lacazette.

Burnley was beaten at home by second in the table Manchester United. Anthony Martial was the only scorer after a very tame first half. Everton played West Brom, which ended 1-1. Everton struggled early in the game and Jay Rodriquez scored in the 7th minute. However, the home side managed to claw back into the game with a goal from substitute Niasse in the 70th minute.

Leicester beat Watford 2-0 at the King Power Stadium. Jamie Vardy scored from the penalty spot followed by Riyad Mahrez with great skill to beat the defender and end the game for good. Stoke beat Huddersfield 2-0 with both goals coming in the second half from Joe Allen and Diouf.

West Ham against Bournemouth ended 1-1. Ryan Fraser was first to score for the away side and just two minutes later Hernandez responded scoring to put the sides on even terms. Manchester City responded well after the defeat against Liverpool by beating Newcastle 3-1. Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick for the side however it was Leroy Sane who stood out with a very skilful performance. Jacob Murphy scored his first goal for Newcastle by calmly chipping the keeper in the 67th minute.

The only game on Sunday ended 1-1 between Southampton and Spurs. Spurs centre-back Sanchez scored an own goal followed by Premier league top scorer Harry Kane in the first half.
