Premier League Round Up

This weekend’s Premier League action started Leicester city against Stoke. The game ended 1-1 with the away side scoring first through Shaqiri. Leicester scored in the 70th minute with Jack Butland scoring an own goal to end the game even.

Bournemouth versus Newcastle ended 2-2. The away side was up by two in the first half with two goals from Dwight Gale. However, the home side responded late in the second half with goals from Adam Smith and Dan Gosling to share the point. Brighton had a good performance against Swansea. The game ended 4-1 with Glenn Murray scoring twice with Knockert and Locadia. Swansea’s only goal was from their own defender; Lewis Dunk to end a dismal day for the side.

Burnley played Southampton in which the game ended 1-1. Both goals came in the second half though – Ashley Barnes for the home side and with Southampton just managing to put the sides even with Gabbiadini in the 90th minute.

Liverpool beat West Ham 4-1. Emre Can open the scoring in the 29th minute followed by the front three on fire Mohammad Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. Michail Antonio was the only scorer for the away side.

West Brom were beaten at home Huddersfield at home 1-2. The away side scored twice though La Parra and Steve Mounie to put the side up. Craig Dawson scored for the home side but was not enough to even the terms. The last game of the day was Watford against Everton. The game ended 1-0 though Troy Deeney being the only scorer in the match.

Spurs beat Crystal Palace away this week. The home side couldn’t manage to get the point with Harry Kane scoring in the 88th minute. The last game of week 14 was between Manchester United and Chelsea. Willian was first to score for the away side followed by Lukaku and Lingard to gain the three points for United.
