Prey Demo is Now Available

While console users may have gotten the demo for Bethesda’s Prey in Spring, Steam users are finally getting it. Arkane’s Raphael Colantonio said that sticking with consoles on release was a “resource management” thing and explained that the refund policy on Steam was the same thing anyway. Meaning you can play the first two hours of a game then refund it if you aren’t into it.

That take on the story is a bit weak, given that you still must pay for those two hours and then wait for a week to get your money back, but no matter. The demo is finally available on Steam, allowing you to play the first hour of the game free.

The game recently got a big update that fixed over 30 bugs, which we won’t list here but if you really want to know you can view them here.

Never know, we might pick it up and have a bash if the mood is right.
