Maybe?

Insomniac Games, makers of Ratchet and Clank, and of the upcoming Spider-Man game, have claimed it will be out this year, according to the vice president and executive editor of Marvel Digital Media, Ryan Penagos. The first trailer for the game was released last year, but very few details have been shared since then.

In a livestream that was captured by a Reddit user, Penagos talked about Marvel’s recent video games, saying “there’s even more on the horizon for 2017, like Spider-Man coming to PlayStation 4 and Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC.”

An official release date has not been announced, and the game itself sees Peter Parker as a far more competent fighter, in a completely original story.

The description for the game reads, “From traversing with parkour and utilizing the environment, to new combat and blockbuster set pieces, it’s Spider-Man unlike any you’ve played before.”

This will be the first ever licensed game that Insomniac has ever made, as they have always made games in-house.

Might be worth a shot if you have a PS4. Lest we forget the horror that was Spider-Man 3.
