The biggest charity night of the year is back tonight with numerous celebrities gathering to raise as much money as they can. The programme will run from 7pm-2am on BBC One and BBC Two.

The likes of Rowan Atkinson, David Walliams, Peter Kay, John Bishop and Eddy Izzard will be taking to the main stage to keep everyone laughing throughout the night. There will also be exclusive performances from the singing sensation Sam Smith and X-Factor star Ella Henderson.

Lenny Henry, Davina McCall and Russell Brand will be hosts for Comic Relief. 

Throughout the night there will be different actors, comedians, singers and hosts all taking to stage and doing their bit for charity. X-factor presenter Dermot O’Leary will be attempting to dance none stop for 24 hours and is only allowed breaks to go to the toilet O’Leary started his danceathon last night at 8pm, kicking off with a live performance from Clean Bandit.

He has since been joined by a number of famous faces including Jamie Oliver, Lenny Henry, Matt Baker, Alex Jones and Holly Willoughby on the dance floor, who have helped to motivate Dermot.

Money raised from Dermot’s Day of Dance will go to help give street children in Kenya and underprivileged young people living in the UK more opportunities.
