Beyoncé is the highest paid woman in the music industry this year, raking in an astonishing £71.8m. The international super star has earned double the money she did last year having performed to millions on her sold-out world tour ‘Mrs Carter.’

The 33 year old also fared well from her ‘On the Run Tour’ with husband Jay Z, which saw the power couple generate over $95 million through ticket sales .

According to Forbes the ‘Drunk in Love’ singer’s estimated income was based on her record sales, concert tickets and merchandise.
