With Hamilton behind in points after a few hiccups, more than a few fans are looking to Rosberg to lead Mercedes to victory.

The majority of this season, it was expected that Hamilton would be leading in points thus far, but after Singapore, there are some questions being raised about Hamilton’s prowess. Rosberg is currently leading by eight points, and has secured two more wins than his British counter-part. Many statistics are looking to be in Rosberg’s favour. Part of the reason for this would be that no driver has ever won the first four races in a row, and not gone on to finish as champion. The German so far has eight wins, leaving Hamilton with his tires spinning at just six wins.

Lewis Hamilton has had a number of technical issues, which have cost him a few races.

F1 regulators will be introducing stricter technical policies, on things like engine parts, and will introduce penalties for not conforming to these new rules. This comes about as a loophole was discovered in which teams could use certain engine parts without being penalised.

If Hamilton wants to stop Rosberg, he is going to have to secure a win in the next race, and the one after. The next race will be in Malaysia, on October 2nd.

Good luck to them both.

And put it this way, if Hamilton doesn’t win the trophy, he can always fall back on his musical career!

No, seriously.
